Terms and Conditions

SHORESIDE CRAFT STUDIO WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following important terms and conditions before you buy anything on our site.

This page tells you information about us and the legal Terms and Conditions on which we book any workshops listed on our website to you.

These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the booking of a Workshop. Please read these Terms carefully before booking any Workshop from our site.

If you do not understand any of these Terms and want to talk to us about them, please contact us at shoresidecraftstudio@gmail.com.

You should print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference.

We amend these Terms from time to time. These Terms were most recently updated on 28th April 2022.

These Terms, and any Contract between us, are only in the English language.

Information about us

We are Shoreside Craft Studio and operate the website https://shoreside-craft-studio.mailchimpsites.com/ and we provide Workshops. When we refer to “us” in these conditions we mean Shoreside Craft Studio in relation to the sale of Workshops.

Contacting us if you are a consumer

The easiest way to contact us is to e-mail us at shoresidecraftstudio@gmail.com. If you are emailing us regarding a booking please include details of your order to help us to identify it.

If you wish to contact us for any other reason, including because you have any complaints, you can contact us by e-mailing us at shoresidecraftstudio@gmail.com

If we have to contact you or give you notice in writing, we will do so by e-mail to the address you provide to us in your order.

Our Workshops

The images of the Workshops on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products used. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

You may only book Workshops if you are at least 18 years old.

To book, simply choose which class and which date you want to attend and pay using the book a class page on our website

www.shoreside-craft-studio.mailchimpsites.com

Can I cancel or move my class?

Class bookings are non-refundable so please ensure you are able to attend before booking.

We take much care to make sure our classes are both knowledgeable and enjoyable and that takes a lot of time. We also have to purchase materials in advance and keep our class numbers small which is why we are unable to offer refunds.

For the same reasons class transfers are not always possible but we will try to accommodate this where we can. If you would like someone else to take your place in a class just let us know beforehand.

If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to book you onto another class date instead but please note this is at our discretion and NOT part of the terms of booking.

We need a minimum number of students for each class to run. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a class due to low attendance, staff sickness or unavoidable emergency. These instances are very rare and we’ll always give you as much notice as possible.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held in our lovely studio in the garden of 5 Shore Road, Ainsdale, Southport, PR8 2RF.

Off road parking is available nearby and Ainsdale train station is 1 min walk away.

How the contract is formed between you and us

Our site will guide you through the steps you need to take to place an order with us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process

After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. However, please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Our acceptance of your order will take place as described below.

We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that a Workshop has been booked (Workshop Confirmation). The Contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Workshop Confirmation.

Our right to vary these Terms

We amend these Terms from time to time. Please look at the top of this page to see when these Terms were last updated and which Terms were changed.

Every time you book a Workshop with us, the Terms in force at the time of your order will apply to the Contract between you and us.

We may revise these Terms as they apply to your order from time to time to reflect the following circumstances:

1. changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and

2. other circumstances.

If we have to revise these Terms as they apply to your order, we will contact you to give you reasonable advance notice of the changes and let you know how to cancel the Contract if you are not happy with the changes. If you opt to cancel,  we will arrange a full refund of the price you have paid.

Your consumer right of refund - Cancelling a workshop

In some circumstances we may have to cancel a Workshop. If that happens we will give you as much notice as possible and will try to accommodate you on a different date, or refund your fee paid, whichever you prefer. We do not accept liability for travel or other costs.

Price of Workshops

The prices of the Workshops will be as quoted on our site at the time you submit your order.

Prices for our Workshops may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order you have already placed.

How to pay

You can pay for Workshops using a debit card or credit card via Stripe. Bank Transfer and PayPal are also available, if you would prefer to use these payment methods please contact us.
